Swimming Lessons Bath and Radstock

My son has absolutely loved his lessons over the years, and we are more than happy with his swimming ability 😊 Thank you to Bliss, Beckie and Lisa for all of your help.

I’m writing this email feeling a powerful mix of pride and gratefulness to you all. You have taught Rafe so much over the years, and swimming is now something that he enjoys so much, and feels increasingly confident with. Helen and I want to thank you all for your care and expertise with his lessons, beginning with Kelly and Lisa, then Beckie, with Harry, Bliss and Finlay and all of your other colleagues who stepped in.

I am a 56 year old woman having swimming lessons for the first time. I could swim, but with no style. The adult swimming lessons are delivered with kindness, empathy and respect and I really enjoy them. There is a camaraderie with my fellow swimmers and it’s a really supportive environment. The progress I have made has been very pleasing and really good value for money. Thank you Nathan for your patience! Thank you Lisa for your fantastic swim school! Really recommend!

I made it to the age of 58 without ever having learned to swim. In some ways, it didn’t matter as long as I stayed away from pools and rivers, but deep down I knew that I was afraid of deep water, and I’d grown tired of living with that fear.

My experience with Mighty Splash, learning first with Lisa and then Harry, has been revelatory. I never feel like I’m being rushed into doing something before I’m ready, but we always find a way to move forward, to do something in each lesson that I’ve never done before.

The teachers’ patience is endless – they always understand when I need to take my time or practise something more to feel comfortable. They combine this with a deep knowledge of swimming skills that help me understand how my body behaves in the pool. I feel like I am finally conquering my fears and learning to enjoy being in water.

William’s confidence in the water has grown so much and I’m really pleased that he’s now able to jump in and launch himself into the pool without being afraid. Beckie has been amazing at teaching and encouraging him — and the backstroke Lisa taught him at Downside is amazing! Thank you.

Sam has thoroughly enjoyed swimming with you — the teaching standard has been excellent throughout and it will feel very strange to not journey up the hill on a Sunday morning to bring Sam swimming. Thank you for turning Sam into a super swimmer, I will always remember his first session with you where I think we all thought he might drown, lol!

Both my children have had such fantastic lessons from your team over the years and we are really pleased with how they can now swim. Thank you so much for everything you have all done.

Thanks so much. Seeing Finn confidently hop in the pool and start swimming, after not being near a pool for over two years due to lockdown and family shielding, was the most incredible thing.
